I'm amazed at how the story faded from the news. There is such a lack of consensus in the scientific community regarding the dangers of nuclear power; from the WHO stating that there were less than 50 deaths fro Chernobyl to an extensive scientific study attributing 980,000. Interesting point: Did you know that the WHO and the IAEA have an agreement that, when there is conflicting information on the health effects of radiation, they will convene and essentially censor the work? (I'll find the cite when I have a moment.)
