Hey, first time I ever watched a live webcast I think. Mori says that after the M9 the M6+ quake near Mt Fuji was only 5 km from Fuji (summit), and that Fuji erupted 1 1/2 month after another major or great quake. But, Japanese avoid talking about this because they have more urgent things to deal with right now.

I guess Mori is too valuable to have time for Nova, working on this quake. But, HW commented that Nova really needs to have local geologists and seismologists on their quake programs (and they do not), and Mori is working in Kyoto these days.
