If only I was organized enough to keep a calender (or non-isolated enough to have anything to put on one). I may watch, thanks Canie. Nova (PBS) last night was on the quake and tsunami and had some of the same cast of characters as the previous quake Novas. They even had the same fictitious plate boundary map that seems to have been drawn by deranged monkeys (HW and I watch this and think "WTF"). And, Roger Bilham was flying aimlessly around in a helicopter looking at damage. Doesn't he have a job? Otherwise, this one was better than the previous one on quakes, but largely because it showed the same videos that we have been linking to here. Chris Goldfinger and Tom Jordan said a few things that made sense, and there was some talk about the Phillipine Sea Plate subducting under Tokyo. Jim Mori was part of one of the best Novas ever: on the Pinatuba (sp?) volcanic eruption in Phillipines. That group of USGS people really saved some lives! Chris
