I happen to like nuclear power - it is truly unfortunate what is happening now in Japan - I'm sure we'll here the whole story someday, but I did see on the fox news last night where there have been a number of safety violations at those japan sites.

I know the first thing I though of was Does no one test the backup power generators? At the first sign of the quake, those generators should have been shut down - period.. I'm sure hoping this whole thing could have been avoided if proper protocols had been in place.
