Weird, but I somehow got an email from the AQMD regarding monitoring air quality. I never signed up for email alerts with the AQMD. I'll cut and paste the links here:

The thing that worries me is that the government has lost a lot of "street cred" via the conflicting information. As well, clearly the "plume" isn't a single event; any radiation in the jet stream would be an ongoing incident.
