I can only report what I was told. And I heard those stories from multiple parties. One of them was reportedly directly contacted by Navy personnel who were very, very upset.

As I said, it all sounded hilarious to me.

How that signal detection process works is not known to me. I have read reports that explain that humans often have a secondary type of hearing that can detect signals that normal hearing might not.

There is also the possibility of direct or indirect nerve stimulation as with the medical procedure Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

It could be quite important that research be done on all of this. There are actually some important medical consequences associated with these phenomena such as bouts of extreme depression and anxiety and a whole range of aches and pains including severe migraine headaches.

These are personal opinions.
