In early 2010 we saw a quarter of a million people perish in Haiti the day after I posted an earthquake warning to this bulletin board.

Just a few days ago we saw perhaps multiple thousands of people perish in Japan a few days after I posted another warning note.

When so many people's lives are at risk like that there is no percentage in pretending. Someone has to say something to try to get the problem corrected.
