Active week for global M6+ quakes.

I had noticed, but not posted, that there seemed to be a cluster of M6+ quakes that started March 06 (a 6.5 on March 6 is in south Atlantic).

These have occured in 6 different widely separated geographic areas.

Years ago I posted that M6 Pacific quakes separated by thousands of km seem to occur in pairs or clusters within about 24 hours of each other. Roger looked into this and saw nothing statistically. We may want to revisit this later.

Do I think there will be greater than average global M6+ quakes that are far from Japan in the next week? Yes. But, this is not science: I say this not in my role as a research geologist, but instead in my role as someone interested in earthquakes as a hobby that sees the same information as all who post here.
