unconscious irony warning

Ironic that you consider the entire scientific communities in many countries around the world, with thousands of scientists who have been hammering away for decades on the recalcitrant problem of predicting earthquakes, simply to be a giant conspiracy of silence.

Many scientists talk to the press, many prediction schemes have been very publicly attempted, simply none have worked. We can't make time go backwards, we can't transmute water into gold, we can't make energy from nothing - not every problem is going to yield a solution soon, and earthquake prediction may well never work very well.

You won't reveal your name, beg for no critical comments, and have issued no predictions, can't evaluate your own "results", and dream that you're leapfrogging the scientists.

Amazing what one can read on the anonymous internet.
