There was a low M3 and a high 2 in Yellowstone. There was also a minor magnetic storm. It used to be discussed on this page whether magnetic storms could increase quakes, with this effect being more likely in volcanic areas. Roger tested this and we saw nothing for big quakes. Don't think we tested it for small quakes in volcanic areas (although we may have). Casual observations over the last decade or so and nothing jumps out at me. Lots of quakes at high latitudes or volcanic areas and nothing with the sun.
