Puffery is probably part of the reason I post: people actually read what I have to say while it takes me forever to get a science paper published then get no feedback from it. It is also practice in writing and communication, plus now and then I learn something here. As for who you are refering to, and a couple of others, I am not reading many of their posts lately because I got busier. I think every now and then we just post on top of them if we think he claims are irresponsible, and otherwise ignore them.

On the other hand, we don't have that many posts and we actually could use more people (arer posters, new people). posting science, so we don't want to come across too hostile. We don't have Cathryn any more, and Glen, Mike, Jane don't post any more.
