Northridge Anniversary

Well, I really expected something on this site by now about the 17 Anniversary of the Northridge quake. So, since there is nothing yet, I will make mention of it here.
Today was a nice almost hot January day, somewhat unexpected, but a beautiful day none the less. Comments of earthquake weather can be hear from people I talk to in the stores and restaurants and the anniversary is not lost on them. The Firemen at the diner where we had lunch only smiled and said "we know." Talk of preparadness is more evident in the media. Good I quess, but only if acted upon. The USGS page on quakes is behaving in a somewhat unusual way from the past few days with few new quakes being registered. Several sensative people I know have made mention of the date and are sensing "something." Whether it is association with the date a memories of the event or... I can not say. My animals are only upset at the wind, but... I know that quakes do not hit on anniversaries unless it is pure coincidence. Nothing is ringing any bells or shouting a warning, so I will be content to just observe, and move an item or two off that top shelf. "Say dear, do we have extra batteries or do I need to go to the store?"
