Baja quakes

There were a couple of M4s in Baja. These were probably near the faults that cross Baja, from the main plate boundary in the Gulf of California to the offshore of southern California. I am too lazy to get up and look for my California fault map, and can't remember the names of these faults, and Google did not help. One of these faults ofshore California, the Descanso fault, is only 5 km west of the coast at San Diego. It was mapped from San Diego on to the SE by Mark Legg, but we have mapped it a couple tens of km farther NW and linked it to faults that are related to the Newport-Inglewood fault which continues all the way into Los Angeles.

I am semi-celebrating finishing draft 2 of the manuscript I have been working on for 4 1/2 months on the North Anatolian fault near Istanbul. I sent it to my 14 co-authors and maybe by the time we get to draft 4 I can submit it for publication.
