Shan has indicated that it is okay to display his data on these charts. And the chart at the bottom of this page displays reddish gray squares where his recent forecast data proposed that earthquakes with a 7 or greater magnitude might occur.

His Web page does not presently have a list of forecasts going back more than a few days. So there are only three of those squares.

Regarding Amit Dave’s data,

As I have said fairly often in the past, I feel that it is up to each individual earthquake forecaster to evaluate his or her own data and keep other people posted regarding whether or not his or her method is working.

It is not the purpose of these charts to show that Amit Dave’s or Shan’s forecasting methods work or do not work. Their intent is to demonstrate that my computer program can be used to display data from different people on a common reference frame. Then they can be more easily compared. Right now there are numerous forecasters around the world generating data. And it is can be difficult or impossible to make any sense out of them. Are the methods working or not working? My program at least provides a way to start getting those data organized so that people can make effective use of them if they are in fact accurate and valuable forecast data.
