EQF (and Shan and all) I am traveling with limited access to internet, and when at work, not time to post. OK, I imagine that EQF knows more about EM detection etc; it is not what I do. I do know a lot about faults and earthquakes, though. I am a serious researcher but it would not be serious for me to spend time on earthquake prediction web site: that is a hobby. What I have to do, besides my own original work, is read published papers on the subjects I am working on. I also use the phone, Skype, and email. I work in 4 regions and so have a ton of reading of published papers to do; I am way behind on that. Reading published papers on the North Anatolian fault offshore Istanbul is what I am doing now as I prepare a manuscript for publications.

Again, what you do, and what Shan does, is only a hobby for me.
