This, IMNSHO, is harmful quackery. Perhaps we in the amateur quake prediction community - proponents and skeptics alike - should consider efforts to prevent this sort of thing, before some gub-a-mint oh-fish-uhl gets it in their mind to....err....

I'm just glad to see the news stories are calling it for what it is, a bad hoax.
