This is part of an international earthquake forecasting effort. I am posting warnings and advisories to the EarthWaves board because at the moment, it is the best resource to use for making these data easily to researchers around the world. Many more details are being sent by E-mail to various researchers.

Quite a few years ago another earthquake researcher and I developed an earlier version of both this present board and the Yahoo EarthWaves board so that such an information circulation resource would be available. Canie later developed this present board.

This board is fairly good for conversations but not for circulating earthquake warning data in the manner that they need to be circulated. And so I am in the process of creating a new bulletin board for that. It will have a dramatically different structure and numerous other resources such as the ability to include picture files with these text notes. However, the EarthWaves board will probably remain a good place for these conversation type notes.

It would be impossible to include all of the necessary information in these notes that explains how to interpret my warnings and advisories. For that I have extensive amounts of data stored at my Web sites. These warnings and advisories just provide researchers with some basic information that they can evaluate in connection with the detailed information at my Web sites.
