It is somewhat interesting to watch them as they look like modernized versions of the old Cold War era Civil Defense videos that showed people how to duck under a table etc. in case a war got started.

I have a group of videos that were taken when that one catastrophic earthquake and tsunami occurred in the Indonesia area back in December of 1994. It claimed something like a quarter of a million lives. I would expect that those videos are also probably out there somewhere on YouTube.

In one of them, people can be seen standing on debris that is floating along on the river as the water rushes inland. When they reached a bridge they tried to climb up on it. A car can be seen floating as the water caries it inland.
