Magnetic storm coming late tonight

There was a coronal mass ejection or 2 directed at earth and the link below is to a CNN story on the northern lights. Otherwise, the space weather page is:
http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/today.html
(I seem to have been directed from the old "...sec.." to "...swpc..").

Space weather used to be of more interest here because there were a lot of posts that magnetic storms could trigger earthquakes. I used to believe this to some extent but Roger did some analysis/graphing and nothing came out. But, we did not specifically reproduce correlations in Lowell Whiteside's thesis. Following Lowell, since this may be the first major storm in years, might be interesting if there are any bursts of activity in Yellowstone or Long Valley or Coso (or other places with big magma chambers). I only mention USA because it is the only place on the USGS site I look at that will show tiny quakes.

Maybe I'll have to look north tonight; the only time I ever saw the northern lights was from here in Rhode Island, on a night sail in our tiny little motorless sailboat.
