EARTHQUAKE ADVISORY Posted by EQF on July 20, 2010

For almost a month, no strong EM Signals have been detected. That situation changed on July 16, 2010. And during the past few days a number of strong EM Signals were detected. This indicates to me that some strong and significant seismic activity could be approaching in addition to the powerful Papua New Guinea area earthquakes that occurred on July 18, 2010.

Shown below is my latest forecasting Chart that can be found on my Data.html Web page and also a recent Map stored at my Web site. This Chart and Map will change as new versions are stored there.

Areas of line peak activity can be seen around 155 W, 120 W, 65 W, 120 E, and 145 E on the 15 day Time Window line. And that suggests that seismic activity could be headed for any or all of those areas.

As always, the recommendation is that earthquakes forecasters and researchers living in areas where there is line peak activity like that should check their own data to see if any are indicating that significant seismic activity could be headed for those areas.

Forecasters can also check the Charts on the Archives Web page to determine whether or not my past Charts were able to, or might have been able to detect the approach of earthquakes occurring in those area.
