Re: Large Quake UnknownLocation |
Well - After a little more coffee - I'm assuming its PDT she's talking about - I can't find anything anywhere that happened at the time specified. I've always thought that site at Berkeley was more an artistic rendering rather than anything 'real'. CalTech used to have a java applet running showing realtime (30 sec delay) seismic but they havn't kept it up due to lack of funding. http://www.scecdc.scec.org/seismocam/realtime.cam/realtime.html I've listed another site below that I take a look at if I think the lists are behind - it usually shows all the biggies and by eyeballing the different sites and arrival times and amplitude recorded you can kinda guess general location of a quake. The site Roger listed looks good too. Canie Follow Ups: ● Re: Large Quake UnknownLocation - bobshannon.org 11:25:28 - 5/25/2001 (7738) (0) |
