Re: Proposed EAR TONEs tests

Hi Petra:

BTW...what does "nt" mean exactly?

Well...hope those other folks who were getting the $100,000 don't get upset with that scientist! There could be lotsa "snake oil" being sold to the gov't for ridiculous prices...

Some have said that their tones last longer than that but I see what you are saying....

I understand that dogs can hear up to 40000 hz whereas young humans can hear up to 20000 Hz (but which decreases with age due to noise pollution and Bose speakers, rock n roll, etc....). The physical structure of your inner ear controls your audible hearing range.

Regarding your theory...I have a few questions for your consideration /consternation(?):)
1) What if your inner ear is "quiet"/not moving when you are hearing tones?
2) What if the stimulus is a quake trigger causing the quake (and therefore the fault is not emitting any sound at all...in fact it is quiescent until the stimulus comes along...)?

Hey...if you have the list for precursor tones then I believe it could be used for further testing purposes (and possibly corroboration for another theory...provided your location and time info is also provided).

In addition, perhaps informing other "newbies" about it could increase the number of reliable folks doing this type of activity (for everybody's benefit...)?

I'm standing by to receive your info. if you want to send it to me...'cause it seems...

A tone in time saves nine,

mark

(ok...it's cheesey...:)
