Can't sleep, 3 AM (work-related anxiety). Take your dead computer for a drive; they like that. Worked for me a decade ago. Then, for that old Mac Clone, it later did not work despite a drive, so I left it at home and went for a drive myself and when I got back it started right up. I worked with someone whose father was a TV repairman and when he could not fix a TV he would load it in the car and take it for a drive. HW and I have a hypothesis that if you just wait long enough things will fix themselves. 15 years ago ago our TV would not turn on, and I was working at home and while I was 5 meters away from the TV it just came on: "Thank you God".
