I agree, Roger. I honestly believe that if somebody, anybody came up with a substantial record of success over time, they would be embraced. But this record would have to stand up to evaluations...and nobody really likes having their work, scientific or not, questioned. Alas.

There are also basic educational problems with statistics, etc. that very few folks really understand!
