Beth, the quake you have linked is not in the same location as the original location, which was pretty far NE. Maybe it is the same quake and they relocated it. This morning the maps are showing a LOT of quakes that are on different faults in southern California, including a few on the Brawley zone, which I consider the southern San Andreas fault proper. This is because various people have relocated quakes with slip and a strike-slip zone is seen to connect across SE Salton Sea into Brawley zone (I think the various people include Magistrale, or Armbruster and Seeber).
