Hi All,

It's amazing sometimes how things seem to catch and what develops is very interesting. Now before I address the ear tone research subject, I wanted to add that I got some tones today that I believe will be aftershocks to the first ear tone earthquake I reported yesterday.

The first one today was at 9:10AM, in my left ear. It was very faint, but the length of the tone was the same, which should mean it matches the same area. It was immediately followed by another louder more granite like sound, so it would indicate an aftershock of about 1 mag lower than the original.

Just as a note tonight I heard two short ear tones, one louder than the other, left ear and I think they belong to the Geysers or some place around here. Small stuff.

I was very much interested in having a prediction registry for ear tone research. Its been more than a year since I gathered the data from several tone sensitives. I catagorized the types of sounds, also, short, medium, long, etc and I asked them not to tell me where they thought the quake might come from, but asked that I would know where they lived. I had intended to match the tones to the quakes without the sensitive being informed of the results directly. In the end, I found it to be to labor intensive, so I let it go. But the offer presented here by Michael, et al, seems like a good idea. I'm in.

Most everyone here today will not recall that years ago, Earthwaves was primarily inhabited by earthquake sensitives. But at the same time, Dennis Gentry was here and gave his equipment reports along with Daniel Karnes who was a terrific observer of animal habits. There was also a wonderful young man named Ken who lives in Santa Cruz who was our sensitive score keeper. According to his records at that time, as a cohesive group, we worked well in defining area's where quakes would arrive and were able to hone in on the magnitudes with much better results than being on our own. With sensitives, the more people that participate the better the results. Some will be better in some locations than others, but overall a clear pattern emerges.

So Michael or whomever, build the form and let's hope lots of new guests arrive.

Thanks....Petra
