EARTHQUAKE PRECURSOR DETECTOR March 16, 2010

That fairly new Web page contains information regarding the electromagnetic energy field (EM Signal) Earthquake Precursor detector that was first discussed in the following EarthWaves posting:

http://www.earthwaves.org/wwwboard/messages/76688.html

The detector was developed by research personnel in the People’s Republic of China. It can reportedly detect EM Signals at the same time that some people who are earthquake sensitive can “hear” an “Ear Tone” signal.

I believe that three other groups or individuals have also developed different types of detectors that are capable of detecting some of the same signals. Two of those groups are in the U.S. The third is in India. I have not had any success with contacting the U.S. or India groups. But communications are possible with the researchers in China.

This relatively new detector might represent an important breakthrough in the science of earthquake forecasting. It can be quite helpful if a detector can monitor signals for distant earthquakes rather than just local ones. And that appears to be the case here. It can reportedly detect signals that have their origins in fault zones more than 10,000 kilometers away.

Also, when EM Signals were detected, earthquake forecasters and researchers using such a detector in a city such as San Francisco for example could check with area residents who were earthquake sensitive to see if they were also detecting Ear Tones etc. at the same time. That could then provide the forecasters and researchers with invaluable confirmation data.
