Hi Canie, Could you please remove Mr. Rabbit’s response to my March 2, 2010 post from this bulletin board and also remove this present post? I regard his post as being inaccurate and inappropriate. I probably would not have posted the report in the first place except for the fact that people were warned not too long ago not to post responses like that to my posts. So I thought that it might be safe. One of the reasons for trying to keep those posts and responses pleasant and professional sounding is because they are at times discussing information concerning research being done by people in other countries. I am fairly certain that my own posts are sufficiently carefully worded etc. that they are not offensive to the general public and government officials in those countries. But when people such as Mr. Rabbit post those types of responses questioning the validity of the information etc., then people and government officials in the other countries who usually do not speak English as a first language might get confused and offended. The following is a suggestion for your consideration. On occasion in the past you have had to bounce people off this bulletin board for what you regarded as inappropriate behavior. Perhaps the following might help make that less necessary. You could make it a policy that when someone states in their post heading that other people should not respond directly to that post then that would be a bulletin board rule. People could say something like “Heading … - Please do not respond directly to this post” Then those people including myself could post a second, separate heading that other people could respond to. The goal in doing that would be to be able to post notes that can be referenced to researchers and the general public around the world and not have objectionable material attached in responses. It looks pretty bad in my opinion to post a note here and then tell people around the world to read it and then have people such as Mr. Rabbit attach information that I believe many could find offensive. As I have said in the past, I am planning to get another Web site organized where a bulletin board with more restrictive rules will apply. It is a matter of finding the necessary time to get it up and running. Lately I have been focusing on getting a report prepared regarding that new earthquake precursor detector. I would like to tell people where they can locate the report. And it would be helpful if Mr. Rabbit’s response to my March 2 post were first removed. Thanks, EQF
