Thanks for the invite, Jim. Sounds great. I'm city born and raised, but the concrete jungle gets tiresome after a while.

I lived in Bremerton for short of a year back in 90-91. I had one opportunity to go hiking in the Olympic Forest (but not the park itself) to an area called Lena Lake. It's full of dead trees. I now know that this lake was formed by a landslide caused by the 1700 Cascadia quake. There's a term for these which escapes me at the moment.
