1) It doesn't matter. By multiplying the indicators you increase the chances that SOMETHING will correspond but you decrease the value of the predictions.
After all, if you predict a quake every day you'll always be right.

2)Yes but nearly always you were wrong, usually too high.

Understand also, I'm testing whether your predictions are correct, by comparing them to the actual quakes.
