Roger...I don't participate on boards out of fear of getting banned...I don't care.

Honest board operators who don't like certain views or participants will make their board 100% private...i.e., viewing and posting requires an up front login. Such a move is consistent with those board operators whose view is, "my board, I'll do what I want."

Dishonest board operators will keep their board public WHILE banning those who provide views or statements they don't agree with - effectively trying to have it both ways. Both ways in that they want the Internet exposure, membership numbers, rankings, search engine linkings and potential 15 minutes fame should a member in this case get lucky prediction-wise - while censoring those who they "wish" would not say certain things however factual or correct they may be.

For all the years I've been on the Internet - when board operators start to go down the censorship path I always respond with:

1. Follow your own rules as posted.
2. Let the cards fall where they fall in discussions.
3. Assume everyone is an adult capable of staying "unbent".

...else...take the board private. To continue otherwise makes clear the "character" of the board operator.

Now of course, common courtesy is another whole discussion...which so far EQF and I don't seem to have a problem with nor anyone else. Heartland Chris, Tony, John Vidale, yourself and company have been pretty civil...so have I...hence the reason I stick around.

....Earthboppin.net can be rather gritty though...
