what software

I did not make that figure, it is just on the USGS website as a .gig or .jpg or whatever. But, I downloaded the navigation file and seismic reflection data from the USGS site. for the navigation, I will use WORD to save as text, then maybe Excel to get the columns I want. Then, Corpscon, a free (online) military software to convert from the NAD27 datum to NAD83. Then, I will load that navigation into the donated Industry interpretation software "the Kingdom Suite" (thank you Seismic Micro Technology). For the seismic reflection data, I will use "Stuffit" to untar and unstuff it. I will then load it into "the Kingdom Suite" for interpretation. If I choose to show any figure here, I'll dump the graphic to Adobe Illustrator and make a .jpg, use WinSCP to upload to my UCSB account, use "putty" to remotely login, etc.

I'd like to thank the USGS people who did all the work for the NAMSS site and Western Geophysical for making all this data public.
