That Strain picture related drawing has now been deleted from my Web site.

The subject matter is too complex. I am still working on parts of the Earthquake Warning that is at the start of this thread. But, if there is time then at some future date I am planning to see if a separate discussion can get started here regarding earthquake triggering processes.

It is my opinion that the data at my Web site clearly show that the probability is extremely high that many earthquakes are being triggered by forces related to the gravitational pulls of the sun and the moon in the sky.

People keep claiming that they have done all of this research on the subject and have never seen any proof of this. And I keep telling them:

"You are looking at the WRONG data."

If you want to open a safe you have to enter the right combination. If you dial wrong, no matter how many times you try, the safe isn't going to open. It is the same here. If you use the wrong data then no matter how much research you do or how many papers you publish you probably won't be able to see the link between sun and moon gravity related forces and earthquake triggering processes.
