Hi All. I’m still scratching my head. The acceleration in creep for the Bay Area returned to normal about 11 days ago. Now we have this 4.1Ml quake off the coast of Petrolia. The last time this happened there was a 3 day gap between the time creep returned to normal in the Bay Area. The time before that was 8 days.

I’m still treating this as nothing more then coincidences until I can see enough of this to convince otherwise. It is this wide range in time that has me feeling that the occurrences are not related.

I know on a couple of occasions there have been some small quakes along the coast between the Bay Area and the Eureka area. If these small quakes occurred all the time this would make a stronger case for they’re being connected.

Anyway I now have a better understanding at to why geologist and seismologist have gray hair at an early age. Of course what hair I have left started going gray years ago so that kind of gives me a head start in the gray hair department as it mostly gray around the temples. Now to see which happens first.
