My last trip to Yosemite took 2 days longer than it was supposed to. Reason? A zillion tourists, buses, etc etal....And I stopped at the store at the end of the loop...owned by Japan...something told me that Yosemite as Ansel Adams saw it was long gone. The wonderful Native American stories which proceeded us'n newcomers are fascinating.. and the place itself can be wonderful. We did camp in a tipi in 1971 on Xmas day. We were the only ones there...but now....I am not surprised at the activity there. Perhaps it is symbolic...
