Numerous theories have probably been proposed in the past few decades regarding what effects global warming are likely to have on weather systems. It is a complex area of science. I am not sure how much agreement there has been on those theories within the scientific community. At the moment not everyone even agrees that global warming is real. We just have to keep watching for news reports to see what the latest findings and theories are.
