It's been over a week since the last post. Lots of quakes in a cluster on the California Mexican border. It may be interesting if it starts lighting up a little farther north (southern san Jacinto system and Brawley; maybe it has already started with very small quakes.

I'm having a real hard time getting started on a SCEC proposal, due Friday.

Wnet for a low tide walk with HD (heartland daughter) on the coast north of Santa Cruz; Pigeon Point and Ano Nuevo; thought I might run into outcrop of San Gregorio fault, but when I got home and looked at fault mapped saw that the fault did not just clip these points; is farther onshore.
