Thanks for thinking about it, guys. I seem to remember it was limited to a 15-month or 18 month window after the eclipse. It was in months anyway, not more than that because of overlap between solar eclipses. That one in Turkey (quake) really drove it home for me - I think it was on August 17th but the year escapes me - Anatonlian Fault - no big surprise there. Maybe this theory only works in highly volvcanic areas because in my mind's memory I remember thinking of a Pacific Island priestess/priest with a volcano sparking in the background, which doesn't make much sense except that I think that it was in Hawaii on a rainforest hike when I heard it the second time. I seem to remember that there was some image connected with it that was around when I heard it like the volcanic priest/priestess. I have one of those visual memories - I think in pictures an awful lot. I know what you're thinking. Temple Grandin's "Thinking in Pictures" and yes, there are days when I'm like that!
