Chris; Boyko has problems with English so I tried to keep it simple. I looked at all quakes in the NEIC catalog from Aug 30 to Sep 18, 2009, roughly 1100 mag 3.0+ quakes. I compared them to Boyko's predictions for Aug and Sep until his windows closed after the last quake. There were 394 such predictions. A perfect hit is one with the right size quake (+- 1 unit) at the right time (+- 1 day) in the right area (within 100 km of the stated point). Those are Boyko's specified ranges BTW. I did not check for aftershocks or overlapping windows which would lower the score even further. There were only 14 of them, of varying probabilities. His score was less than 4.5 standard deviations, so bad one would normally say he was doing it deliberately (which I doubt). Roger
