M4.1 San Diego Trough

Below is an email I sent to 3 students I am working with and their advisors. I don't know how to imbed a graphic to post here.

There was a M4.1 strike-slip quake in the area Billy will present at SCEC, west of the area Brian is working on:

attached is a .jpg of the nearest seismic profile: the quake is located beneath the middle of this graphic. This must be the San Diego trough fault. Don't know if it is in the area of the aftershocks of the 1986 Oceanside quake.

The NW-SE nodal plane is consistent with the San Diego Trough fault.
