Canie, I'm not checking, but I think the sea level would rise about 80 m if all the ice melted...so less than 300 feet. Not sure if that takes into account that the weight of the added water would depress the crust under the oceans and allow them to hold more water (effect is density water (1) divided my density mantle (3.2 gg/cc?).

It may have been much higher back in Cretaceous when the spreading centers were spreading faster so age of ocean crust was less, and the older the crust the deeper it is, so was less room in the oceans back then. I heard this decades ago; Ia ssume it is still thought to be true but could be mistaken (I thought that I was mistaken once but was mistaken).

No one with sense thinks all the ice will melt this century: it will take much warmer Temps to even get East Antarctica to think about melting...
