Re: Pigs & E-Mail |
Hi Michael, Here's an idea. Why don't you write the scientist who knows the most about those readings in Parkfield? He has a terrific sense of humor. Dr. Tom McEvilly, UCB tom@seismo.berkeley.edu Just be sure to keep it straight. There are two kinds of wild pigs in Parkfield. Wild boar and regular porkies. Those guys weigh in easily at 250/300 pounds. They also have unusual colors for pigs, sort of like a calico cat. At least that's the way the one I saw in the middle of the night on my way to Parkfield looked like. It was a full Moon and I did also see it in the car headlights. Very scary I assure you. Oh, speaking of animals. About 7:50am this morning I went out to clean my car windshield and I swear every dog in the neighborhood was yelping. Mind you, its not garbage day and its to early for the mailman. It went on for a good five minutes and I waited patiently for an impending possible quake and as usual, nothing happened. I have the worst luck. So go ahead and ask Tom about Pigs and Creep Meters. But I tell you, it would be so much better by telephone. Petra Follow Ups: ● Re: Pigs & E-Mail - Daniel J.
