Re: Computer languages project

The original goal was to translate and merge numerous computer programs written in different languages into a single program. It did not matter what language it was or how fast of efficient it was as long as it had all of the necessary features such as the ability to create exe versions of itself.

The basic program is now running and is available for downloads. Some present efforts involve expanding the program’s capabilities and getting other programming languages merged with the effort. Fortran looks like an attractive one at the moment. The following is one Web page that lists Fortran resources.

The main effort now that the download program exists involves getting governments to use the program to try to forecast earthquakes and save lives. Developing computer code and doing earthquake triggering research have become side projects.

Someone will undoubtedly say, “You have to prove with publications etc. etc. that the program works before governments will listen to you.”

I know that the program works. And I have been working informally with governments for years and know how to get them to move regarding various efforts. In the past there was simply nothing concrete for them to work with. Now that the download program exists there is something.
