I think that there was much more evidence that wasn't presented on this Nova. Of course, I read the book "Cosmic Catastrophes" which detailed a lot more research. Obviously they can't put everything into a 50 minute show. The warm/cold ice reminded me of Geochem and isotopes....eeeek! I think that Nova has been dumbed down a bit in the past few years. Maybe it is just me. The hexagonal diamonds were fascinating, and I loved Kennett's reaction. Wish that I had known him at UCSB, or been there to see the discovery.
