Cat bites can be notorious for infection.. Antibiotics should always be started right away. I've been soaking/icing - at night I'm splinting the finger to keep the joint immobilized - that's the worst thing - not sure what internal damage he did there.. either the bone cracked or he nicked a vein when it happened.. I don't think he got the tendon.. there's still some swelling in the joint, so I'm doing hot soaks with epsom salts..
