Mike; I evaluate what's given. If the predictor wants a mag range, that's what I look for. A quake outside the range is a miss. Naturally, that causes howls of outrage at times. Why should mag be treated any different than date or location? Both of those have ranges. Some (like JOB) want archery target rings for partial credit and that's fine too as long as they're specified in advance.
