Yes...there are areas where it is very quiet--the Santa Barbara County Area.

But there are little quakes in the Transverse Ranges...and Northern California. The "creeping" area around Morgan Hill, etc. generally does have many small quakes.

Just seems that we are showing a lot more small quakes all over the state. As I said, may mean better monitoring. We don't know what it means--if anything!

Always a good idea to make preparations for any events however!
