Just checked it out, and that is perfect for the intended use. The idea is to figure out the region the predictor is making a prediction for simply to generalize the area. The reverse would also be possible, allowing the predictor to use a pull down menu to select say, 'OFF COAST OF NORTHERN CHILE', which would translate into the corresponding coordinate set, prediction type polygon, to be used as the formal place for the prediction.
