On January 29, 2009 in a note that I circulated to earthquake researchers around the world I stated that I was expecting some significant earthquake activity, possibly around 125E longitude. My forecasting program was used to make that location determination. On February 11, 2009 a 7.2 magnitude earthquake occurred at 126E longitude and reportedly injured about 50 people. Another fairly good earthquake warning was circulated a short time after that. The program works. It might not be perfect. But it is a good start. On the Etdprog.html Web page at the Meteoquake Web site there is a section that provides proof that the program works. If you don’t understand the information or don’t believe it then there is not much that I can do about that. What I myself am going to be doing now is letting governments around the world know about the existence of the program. And I will be asking expert computer programmers to begin testing it and looking for potential problems and ways that the program can be improved.
