Be careful saying that, Canie. It reminds me of something similar that I said about 15 years ago. My husband had a business in southern California doing mostly public works projects. Business was really bad -- too many competitors bidding too few construction projects had made it hard to win bids. About January 14, 1994, I made the comment that what we needed was one good earthquake and there would be plenty of highway work. The rest is history: January 17, 1994 and the Northridge earthquake occurred and there were a number of freeway failures, along with the resultant death and destruction that I certainly never intended with my flippant comment. It was kind of like the law of unintended consequences. It was just an off-the-cuff statement that I made that happened to come true -- pure coincidence. By the way, he did get some freeway repair work out of it to do -- "it's an ill wind that blows no good." Barbara
